Historic
Over the past decade the H.F. Lenz Company has analyzed mechanical and electrical systems and made recommendations for modification or replacement for nearly 8,000,000 square feet of historically-significant structures. Individual projects range in size from 2,000 to 1.8 million square feet. Many of these projects have received local, state, and national awards for engineering excellence and historic preservation.
These historic structures serve as Class A office space, computer centers, training centers, and modern retail space, as well as museums, tourism/hospitality facilities, hotels, and monasteries.
Through our experience, we have developed a keen respect and sensitivity in incorporating modern, energy-conscious mechanical and electrical systems into diverse types of historic buildings with minimal intrusion on the historic fabric.
