Architectural/Structural Project Engineer
Responsible for business development, fee estimating, construction cost estimating, construction phase services, coordination of activities with other design trades, personnel scheduling, and quality control.  Successful candidate will possess 7 to 10 years of commercial and institutional building structures project management experiences, a minimum B.S. Degree in Architectural/Structural Engineering, or a minimum combination of education and experience. A proven track record in leading, developing, and coaching professional and technical personnel is a must, along with an FE or PE registration.  (Top)
 
Civil Designer
A design professional with a minimum associate (2-year) technical degree and one to three years civil design experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  Will be responsible for performing computer assisted civil/survey design and drafting, including site development , roadway, and utility design. Must be proficient in AutoCAD drafting (version 2002 or higher preferred) with Autodesk Land Development (formerly Softdesk), Eagle Point, or equivalent civil software knowledge preferred.  (Top)
 
Communications Infrastructure Engineer
A responsible, self-motivated communications infrastructure (ISO Layer 1 Physical) designer able to evaluate design criteria and create plans and specifications for communication cable systems (optical fiber, LAN's, telephone, CCTV, etc.) consistent with EIA/TIA, BICSI/TDMM, and BELLCORE standareds, the National Electrical Code, and client requirements.  Responsible for supervision and leadership of CADD Designers and must possess the ability to manage multiple projects.  Successful candidates must possess 3 to 5 years experience in the design and specification of communications cabling systems normally obtained with prior communications cable system design experience and a B.S. in Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  A PE license is preferred as is a working knowledge of AutoCAD (version 2002 preferred).  A Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certificate is a plus.  (Top)
 
Electrical Design Engineer
Experienced design professionals with a minimum of 3 to 5 years consulting engineering experience.  AutoCAD drafting experience is a must (version 2002 preferred).  Electrical responsibilities include electrical and lighting layout and design, signaling systems design (fire alarm, TV, data), 208- & 480-volt power distribution, lighting and voltage drop calculations, editing project specifications, engineering support and quality control reviews for multi-project programs.  National Electrical Code and various national building codes knowledge a must.  Applicants with a BSEE degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is a plus.  FE or PE registration highly desirable.  (Top)
 
Field Representative
Field construction observation experience and knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing design, and building systems concepts.  Responsible for coordination of efforts with project trades, engineering, architects, contractors, and owners.  Will also coordinate shop drawing reviews, perform cost estimates, and assist in negotiation of change orders.  Must have a minimum of 5 to 7 years field construction observation experience and an engineering degree in construction management or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  The position requires strong interpersonal and communications skills for effective integration and coordination of field construction activities.  (Top)
 
Fire Protection Engineer
Successful candidates posses a minimum BS Degree in Fire Protection Engineering, 3 to 5 years experience in architectural engineering consulting services, professional engineering license, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  Working with a multi-disciplined engineering team providing analytical and design services or commercial, institutional, and government clients, the selected individual serves as subject matter specialist in fire protection engineering.  Responsibilities will include overseeing fire protection design practices for detection, alarm, and sprinkler systems.  Will also be responsible for the assessment of material and product hazard analysis.  (Top)
 
Mechanical Design Engineer
BSME and CAD drafting know how with a minim of 3 years experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  Responsibilities include HVAC concept designs, design modifications, space and air flow calculations, editing project specifications, engineering support and quality control reviews for multi-project programs.  FE or PE registration preferred.  (Top)
 
Mechanical (HVAC) Project Engineer
An experienced mechanical engineering professional with a minimum of 5 years HVAC/mechanical consulting experience.  Reporting to a Principal-in-Charge, will be responsible for primary client interface and coordinating engineering design production to meet desired service quality and effectiveness.  A PE license is required along with proven project management and leadership success in an engineering consulting capacity.  (Top)
 
Plumbing Designer
Must possess a minimum of 4 to 8 years plumbing design experience (CIPE preferred), in architectural engineering consulting field.  Is responsible for performing computer aided deign and drafting (AutoCAD 2002 preferred), and possess thorough knowledge of NFPA and major national plumbing codes.  An equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.  (Top)
