Altoona Railroaders Memorial Museum
Altoona, PennsylvaniaThe Altoona Railroaders Memorial Museum was
expanded in conjunction with the National Park Service. H.F. Lenz
Company provided Title I, II, and III services for the
restoration/renovation and adaptive reuse of a historic Pennsylvania
Railroad structure, the Master Mechanic's Building. Constructed in
1882, the four-story, 40,000 sq.ft. building is eligible for nomination to
the National Register of Historic Places. It is one of the few
Pennsylvania railroad structures that remain in Altoona.
